Cleveland Community College emerged victorious in a three-game series against Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute. The series, which took place from February 2-4, 2024, showcased competitive baseball between the two teams.
Both the Baseball and Softball teams traveled to compete in their respective Region 10 Division II tournaments. Baseball was hosted at Big Rock Stadium in Morehead City, NC and softball was hosted by Louisburg College in Louisburg, NC.
The Baseball team won their mid-week home game on Wednesday against Rockingham Community College 11-0. The Yetis won by run rule in a game that was completed in the 5th inning.
The Baseball team hosts Rockingham CC on Wednesday for a single game beginning at 2 pm. On Thursday, baseball hosts Gardner-Webb's JV team for a doubleheader beginning at 1 pm.
UPDATE: The baseball series versus Guilford Tech on Friday and Saturday has been changed due to incoming weather. The teams will play a doubleheader on Thursday beginning at 1 pm.
The Lady Yetis softball team hosts Louisburg College on Tuesday and Catawba Valley CC on Wednesday for Region 10 doubleheaders that begin at 2 pm each day.
The Cleveland Community College Baseball team won a mid-week shootout versus nationally ranked Florence-Darlington Technical College on Wednesday, 12-8 at Yeti Athletics Park.
