Cleveland Community College's Cross Country team opened their 2020 season at Montreat College on September 18.

The meet was held at Montreat's Black Mountain Campus and included a variety of four year and two year colleges. The field was comprised of teams from the Appalachian Athletic Conference (NAIA) including host Montreat, Columbia College (SC) Milligan (TN) Columbia International (SC) and Region 10 (NJCAA) teams including Spartanburg Methodist (SC) and Louisburg College (NC). The field also included one NCCAA team, Bob Jones (SC).

Noah Lesser was the top finisher for the Yetis, completing the four mile course in 24:29.48. The Yetis travel to Columbia College (SC) on October 3 for their second meet of the season.
