Cleveland Dominates Louisburg College in Faculty/Staff Recognition Match
On October 10, 2024, the Yetis volleyball team delivered a commanding performance against Louisburg College, winning 3-0 in a match that also served to recognize the dedicated faculty and staff who support student-athletes. The match, played at Cleveland Community College, ended with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, and 25-12.
Cleveland showcased their offensive strength and defensive resilience throughout the match. They dominated the court, particularly in attack efficiency, ending with a total of 31 kills. Taija Smith was a standout for Cleveland, notching 9 kills on 24 attempts, leading her team in offensive production. Aziyah Rudisill also made a significant impact, contributing 9 kills and achieving a hitting percentage of .538. Kassie Swink supported the attack effectively, recording 4 kills and providing solid defensive play with 11 digs.
