Yetis XC first meet at Walters State Invitational

September 7, 2024 - Morristown, TN - The cross country teams participated in their first meet of the season at the Walters State Invitation held on Saturday at Walters State Community College. Both the men's and women's squads showed impressive results on the challenging courses.

For the women's team, Parker Wilson delivered a standout performance. Running on the 5K course, Wilson clocked a time of 26:16, securing her position as the 6th place JUCO finisher. Her strong run was a highlight for the team and demonstrated her commitment and skill on the track.

On the men's side, Nehemiah Garcia also had a noteworthy showing. Competing in the 8K race, Garcia completed the course in 29:34. His effort earned him 4th place among JUCO competitors, showcasing his competitive edge and endurance.
