Yetis Track & Field breaking school records at Montreat College Open

The Track and Field team competed in the Montreat College Open at Montreat College this past Friday and Saturday, March 22 and 23, at Pulliam Stadium in Black Mountain, NC.

Marty Lovingood and Kohen Johnson both broke the old school record (Kinser Hudson, 2:12, 2021) for the 800-meter run. Lovingood ran 2:08, finishing first in the heat, and Johnson ran 2:11, finishing second. Jamie Sanchez competed in the 200 & 400 meters. On the women's side, Alayna Simmons completed in the 100 & 200 meters. 

The running Yetis will travel to Livingstone College this weekend to compete in the Livingstone Blue Bear Invitational on Saturday, March 30.
