Track & Field kicks off their season with first meet

The Track and Field team kicked off their season with the first meet at Lenoir Rhyne on Saturday, March 16, 2024. The LR Bears took place in Hickory, N.C. at the Irwin Track at Moretz Sports Athletic Campus. Marty Lovingood and Kohen Johnson both broke the school record time of 4:51 for the 1,500-meter run. Marty ran a time of 4:36 and Kohen completed the distance in 4:40. The Yeits Track & Field team will next compete at the Montreat College Open on Friday & Saturday, March 22 & 23.
